What Is It Prescribed For?

How Is It Given?
It is given as an infusion into a vein over 6 to 8 hours, once every 3 to 4 weeks.
What Are Common Side Effects?
You may face some of these side effects:
- Infusion-related reactions like skin rashes, redness, itching, difficulty breathing or swallowing, swelling of face, fast heartbeat, and dizziness
- Nausea and vomiting
- Numbness and tingling of hands or feet
- Hiccups
- Hair loss
- Dehydration
- Low blood cell count
- Hearing problems
