What Is It Prescribed For?

  • Arzerra is approved for Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (a kind of white blood cell cancer)
  • Kesimpta is approved for Relapsing multiple sclerosis (a disease of the brain and spinal cord)

How Is It Given?

Kesimpta is given subcutaneously(under the skin) and Arzerra is given intravenously (into a vein).

What Are Common Side Effects?

You may face some of these side effects:

  • Injection-related reactions like nausea, vomiting, redness, difficulty breathing, fever, and chills
  • Skin rashes
  • Weakness
  • Headache
  • Diarrhea
  • Cough

It should be avoided in patients with active Hepatitis-B virus (HBV) infection.
