Early Stage Cancer
While most cancers have stages 1, 2, 3, and 4, some cancers have stage 0 as well. Doctors classify cancers as per the TNM staging of which T indicates tumor cells, N indicates the lymph nodes and M indicates metastasis. Generally the detection in a lower grade of cancer allows for cure. Stage 0 describes the cancer ‘in situ,’ and not having spread. It is highly curable and usually removed with surgery. Stage 1 also indicates that the cancer has not spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes. It is often referred to as early stage cancer. Symptoms like dizziness, unexplained weight loss and fatigue may signal the onset of cancer.
